Enflex S is Enplast America’s tradename for our family of Styrenic Block Copolymer TPE compounds. This technology is extremely versatile, with capability for extremely soft TPE’s (0 Shore A) to semi-rigid or flexible (50 Shore D). One of the more cost effective and easy to customize TPE product families, these products are easily colorable, UV stable, offered in grades for adhesion to a variety of different rigid plastic substrates, and with special features possible such as translucent, high coefficient of friction, low coefficient of friction, FDA compliant, flame retardant, various density levels and extrusion or injection molding processes. These materials are ideal for various consumer non-durable and durable applications, automotive applications, packaging/food storage applications, power tools and kitchen utensils. We manufacture these materials in two primary locations in the US – Arlington, TX and Brighton, MI, and our sister company Enplast in Turkey manufactures this family under the Ensoft tradename.
Enflex V is Enplast America’s tradename for a family of Thermoplastic Vulcanizate (TPV) TPE compounds. With a dispersed phase of cross-linked EPDM rubber in a continuous phase of Polypropylene, these grades offer excellent compression set especially at elevated temperatures up to 125C; excellent heat resistance; excellent dynamic and static sealing performance; very good fluid resistance; and ability to customize for different features such as coefficient of friction, flame retardant, and various hardness levels from soft (35 Shore A) to semi-rigid or flexible (50 Shore D). These materials are inherently low gloss with a dry-touch feel. Useful in automotive, industrial and consumer durable applications and processible via injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding. We manufacture these materials in Arlington, TX and also at Enplast in Turkey under the same tradename.
EnViramid® is the trade name for Ravago Manufacturing Americas (RMA) Post Consumer Recycle (PCR) Nylon 6 and 66 product family. Eco-friendly, EnViramid is based entirely on PCR Nylon 6 and 6.6 carpet fiber feedstock. These products offer an excellent balance of mechanical properties and cost effectiveness. Enviramid is suitable for a variety of applications in the Automotive, Consumer Durable, and Industrial market segments. RMA operates one of the largest PCR Nylon ‘regeneration units’ in the world in Manchester, TN. This backward integration to the PCR Nylon source ensures product consistency both in terms of feedstock availability and product performance. All Enviramid PCR Nylon 6 and 66 products are UL registered to contain 100% PCR Nylon feedstock.
EZPrene is Enplast America’s tradename for a family of specialty Thermoplastic Vulcanizate (TPV) TPE compounds, made with a unique process and composition. With the same dispersed phase of cross-linked EPDM in a continuous phase of Polypropylene, but with a crosslinking technology that provides enhanced flow, low color and improved UV stability, in addition these grades DO NOT require pre-drying; these grades also offer excellent compression set up to 125C; excellent heat resistance; dynamic and static sealing performance; very good fluid resistance; and ability to customize for different features such as coefficient of friction, flame retardant, and various hardness levels from soft (35 Shore A) to semi-rigid or flexible (50 Shore D). These materials are inherently low gloss with a dry-touch feel. Useful in automotive, industrial and consumer durable applications and processible via injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding. We manufacture these materials in Arlington, TX and also at Enplast in Turkey under the same tradename.
